Coolangatta Tweed Heads Golf Club

What a sensational day we had at Coolangatta Tweed Heads Golf Club! With the weather turning on lovely sunshine and the course presented in truly excellent condition, the stage was set for a fantastic day of golf, laughter and high spirits.

A massive thank you to all 105 players who joined us! Your enthusiasm and friendly energy are what make Lady Grady events so incredibly special.

As always, the course proved to be a wonderful challenge, testing our skills and keeping us on our toes. Playing the Hartball game format added a brilliant layer of team spirit to the day—it was a fantastic way for everyone to experience the course together, work as a team, and enjoy some friendly competition.

An event of this size doesn't happen without a great team behind the scenes. We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to:

Craig Smith (Golf Operations Manager & PGA Assistant Professional) and his team for their flawless organization, warm hospitality, and for ensuring our day ran so smoothly from start to finish.
Chef Anthony and the food & beverage team for treating us to a thoroughly delicious lunch after our round. It was the perfect reward after a great day out on the course!

Beyond the golf, our members showed once again just how generous the Lady Grady community is. Thanks to your enthusiastic support of our fundraising efforts throughout the day, we raised vital funds that will contribute directly to our annual donation to Down Syndrome Queensland. Thank you for opening your hearts once again to such a worthy cause!

Mark your calendars! Our next event is our highly anticipated Christmas Celebration on December 7th at Royal Pines Golf Resort.

As many of you know, our Christmas event is extra special: it is one of only two events on our annual calendar where members can register as a complete team of 4 (the other being Day 2 of our annual "Away" event). For all other Lady Grady events throughout the year, members register as singles or pairs.

Why do we do this?

Since the inception of Lady Grady in 2003, our core mission has always been to foster true camaraderie between lady golfers from clubs all across South East Queensland. By pairing players up at our regular events, members tee up with ladies they might be meeting for the very first time. Over the years, countless lasting friendships have been born right on the fairway!

So, gather your group of four for our festive year-end celebration at Royal Pines—we can't wait to celebrate another wonderful year together!
