Royal Pines Golf Resort

There was absolutely no mistaking it was Christmas at the final Lady Grady event of the year! Held at the beautiful Royal Pines Golf Resort on December 1st, our members brought incredible festive spirit to the course. Teams of Elves, Christmas Angels, Nutcracker Soldiers, Christmas Fairies, and many more took to the course with high spirits and even higher hopes for a great game.

The weather and golf course played their part to perfection, delivering perfect golfing conditions for a wonderful day out.

The real winner of the day was our long-term beneficiary, Down Syndrome Queensland!

Our fundraising efforts—including the ever-popular Mulligans, the fabulous Christmas Hamper Raffle, and the 100 Boards—were a huge hit. We must give a special mention to our members: the level of donations at this event was truly outstanding. Your incredible generosity allows us to continue making a significant contribution each year.

We also extend our deepest thanks to all of our dedicated sponsors, including those who committed to new sponsorship at this final event. Your support is invaluable!

On a bittersweet note, we sadly said goodbye to our wonderful Treasurer, Marg Gray.

Marg’s commitment to Lady Grady has been second to none, and we are so grateful for her tireless hard work and dedication over the years. We wish her all the very best in her travels around Australia and look forward to seeing her at future events whenever her journey brings her back! Thank you, Marg!

Our thanks must go to Carmen and her team for the seamless running of our final event. Their hard work makes this outing a favourite with our members every year.

Please join us again! Our next event is scheduled for February 23rd at Hope Island Golf Resort, where we will be presenting Down Syndrome Queensland with our annual cheque! We can't wait to see you there.
